This White Ghost Cocktail is a boozy, sweet and milky delight. It's ghostly white colour makes it the perfect Halloween cocktail too! Get the recipe below.

Creamy milk based cocktails

When you think of cocktail ingredients you probably don't immediately think of milk or cream. But there are lots of different milk based cocktails that allow for a luxurious, creamy, boozy drink.

Some classic milk based cocktails include:

  • Brandy Alexander
  • White Russian
  • Eggnog
  • Mudslide
  • Chocolate Martini
  • Screaming Orgasm
  • Birthday Cake Martini

Often milk based cocktails are combined with coffee but not always. For this recipe we use a white chocolate flavoured liqueur. It's very similar to a white chocolate martini but turns into a long drink.

How to make the White Ghost Cocktail vegan

The key ingredients for this cocktail are:

  • Soy milk
  • White chocolate liqueur
  • Vodka
  • Vanilla extract

Just four simple ingredients that create a delicious cocktail.

To make this recipe vegan I've used soy milk instead of cows milk. I use soy milk rather than another plant based milk as it is the most similar to cows milk. If you would prefer to use another plant based milk then please do! Almond milk also works particularly well.

Sometimes alcohol isn't vegan due to the way it is processed. But, the good news is that vodka is. It may be slightly unexpected but the  vegan white chocolate liqueur, is actually vegan too.

You can find out more about which types of alcohol are vegan here.
