Ingredients

  • 350 g apples cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 50 g caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon rose water
  • 3 cardamom pods
  • 50 ml water

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients into a heavy bottomed saucepan and place over a medium-low heat.
  • Cook the apples until the sugar has melted and the apples have softened and begun to break down.
  • Use immediately or leave to cool and store in an airtight container or jar in the fridge.
