Vegan Cheese and Chilli Jam Sandwich

This Vegan Cheese and Chilli Jam Sandwich is the perfect combination of sweet and salty with a little added heat.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 slices tofu
  • 1 ciabatta roll
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 100 g vegan cheese a soft cheese like buratta or mozzarella
  • 1 tablespoon chilli jam

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a pan.
  • Once the oil is hot, lay your tofu slices into the oil and cook for 5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Flip the tofu slices over and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • To assemble your sandwich, cut your ciabatta roll in half.
  • First layer up the spinach followed by the cooked tofu, vegan cheese and then chilli jam.
  • Finish with the top of the roll and enjoy!
