Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 200 g choi sum
  • 4 spring onions sliced lengthways
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon root ginger minced
  • 2 tsps light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Shaoxing wine
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 pinch ground white pepper

Instructions

  • Heat the vegetable oil in your wok.
  • Add the choi sum and cook for 1 - 2 minutes until it just starts to wilt.
  • Next add the garlic, ginger, soy sauce and Shaoxing wine and stir to coat the choi sum.
  • Once coated, add the sesame oil and pinch of pepper.
  • Serve while piping hot.
