Kalette Crisps
These crispy kalettes are the perfect alternative to a bowl of crisps or popcorn.

- 300 grams kalettes rinsed and tough stalks cut off
- 3 tablespoon vegetable oil or other non-flavoured oil
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 200 C / 400 F / gas mark 6.
In a large mixing bowl, toss the kalettes with the vegetable olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Rub the oil and seasoning into the kalette frills.
Spread kalettes out into a baking tray and spread out so they are all on a single layer.
Place into the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
Shake and cook for a further 5 minutes or until crispy.
