Dining room design inspiration

Did you hear the good news? We’ve only gone and bought a house! Completion was last week and we are slowly but surely moving from the flat to our new home. I am SO excited you wouldn’t believe. My dungarees have already seen some serious decorating action and I’m itching to start buying more furniture. But, I must be sensible and let the workmen do the electrical work and plastering first.
Last week I shared some of my ideas for decorating our bathroom. This week I’m sharing dining room design inspiration. Check out these three home decor designs and let me know your favourite in the comments below.
1. English country garden

One of the things I am most excited about moving house is that we are going to have a garden. Our dining room will look out onto our garden which is the inspiration for this floral dining room design. It uses lots of pastel colours, floral patterns and a hint of countryside charm.
2. Modern retro
£26 – build.com
£60 – lovethesign.com
amara.com
scp.co.uk
£33 – amara.com
£4.44 – pier1.com
£52 – chairish.com
houseology.com
£285 – domino.com
This one is for all you vintage and retro lovers. Those of you who know me well know I am a big fan of everything vintage (except maybe their attitudes to women but that’s for another day…) This design takes inspiration from the swinging 60’s but has brought it up to date!
3. Rose gold and marble
amara.com
£62 – domayneonline.com.au
crateandbarrel.com
£18 – wayfair.com
£63 – domino.com
houseology.com
scp.co.uk
£350 – cymax.com
£205 – zincdoor.com
This dining room design is so 2016. Rose gold and marble have been some of the hottest interior trends this year so they had to feature in one of my mood boards. Keep surfaces marble and use rose gold to add a decorative touch.
So there we have it, three completely different dining room designs.
Do you have a favourite? Can you tell which one we might go for?
Make sure you come back regularly for more progress on the house. I’ll be taking before and after photos as we decorate our new home from top to bottom!
Congratulations! Very exciting, I love the copper and rose gold x
Thanks Jenni 🙂 the copper and rose gold is so pretty isn’t it?!
