My Week in Pictures

My Week in Pictures

It’s been a while since I’ve posted one of these and I know how much you all love them, so please do forgive me! This week has been REALLY busy so as you can see there are lots of pictures to share with you.

On Sunday, Jon and I went to dinner with my parents at Barbecoa in central London. We were celebrating my Dad’s birthday so we decided to have a sneaky drink in Madison’s rooftop champagne bar before hand. IT was such a lovely sunny day and we arrived at the perfect time. While we were on the roof we had a fab view of the city. As we ate dinner we got to watch the sun set behind St Pauls.

Monday through to Wednesday was pretty chilled out at work. Things have quietened down recently so it was good to be able to manage work, studying for my Masters and exercising and eating right. I’ve also been lucky enough to have been getting out on my lunch breaks.

There is plenty of green space on the Southbank and by St Pauls so I’ve been eating my lunch and having a sun bathe at the same time!

Thursday was a whole different story though…I ended up working through until 11pm. 14hours of solid work is quite intense but having had some early nights earlier in the week it didn’t knacker me out too much.

This weekend has been lots of fun. Saturday was jam packed with shopping at the vintage market in Spitalfields. (Check me out modelling my new ‘old’ shirt!)

We also went for brunch at Duck and Waffle. We’d only ever been there in the evening before so it was lovely seeing the skyline in the day time. The brunch menu is also AMAZING. It’s fast becoming a favourite of mine. Any excuse to go back…

In the evening we went round a friends house for a Wii and boardgame night. My team won both Articulate and Outburst! WOOHOO! Also…did I mention that Daniel Duke (of “The Voice” fame) happened to be there…that’s right…he’s a friend of a friend 😀 unfortuantely Jon told me I wasn’t allowed to ask for a photo hahaha!

I’m expecting this week to be just as busy with more studying, plenty of exercise, a thai supper club with my girlies at Banh Mi Bay and sausage making! So watch this space for more photos!

What have you been up to this week? Have you had a chance to get out and about in the sunshine? I hope work and home haven’t been keeping you too busy…
