Hello and welcome to Supper in the Suburbs and food and lifestyle blog based in North London.
My name is Emma and I cook, write and photograph the recipes, reviews and other content for the blog. What started out as a bit of escapism while I was at university has turned into a huge part of my life – there isn’t a day that goes by where I’m not engaging with my readers, thinking up new recipes or eating and drinking!
Supper in the Suburbs is the grown-up version of Kitchen Goddess (in training!). Kitchen Goddess (in training!) was my original food blog which I started during my second year of university and which was primarily targeted at students and those cooking on a budget. As I grew up, so did the blog and I eventually rebranded in 2012 when I made the move to London with my partner Jon.
In total I’ve been blogging for over 5 years. Most of the content I produce on the blog is food related in some way. I share original recipes weekly (always posted on a Sunday) and occasional share homes & interiors inspiration, travel posts, restaurant reviews and other lifestyle content posted on a Wednesday.
If you want to keep up to date with the blog then make sure you check back regularly and sign up for the monthly Supper in the Suburbs Newsletter.
As the blog continues to grow I’ll keep posting recipes you love along with other food for thought.
We are hoping to move home later this year and with that I’ll also be sharing more homes and interiors content including kitchen design, crafts and DIY tutorials. Also keep an eye out for posts on our kitchen garden!
If there’s anything in particular you’d like to see more or less of then do let me know!
